ABOUT ME

HI! My name is Carol Adams, wife-mother-grandmother in the interior of the largest and coldest state in the U.S.   I have lived in this beautiful state since December of 1976.  I came here to live with my sister when my mother passed away.  Boy was I in for a surprise- 13 years old moving here in the middle of winter to a homestead of 80 acres, no electricity, no running water and an outhouse!

Needless to say I survived and learned the passion of picking berries.  Not only do I  love picking cranberries,( because they are in abundance out my front door  and my husband whips up a scrumptous cranberry pie) but also raspberries and blueberries.

Enjoy and hope you all get a chance to stop in to our charming little boutique

here in Delta Jct., AK.

                                                       Carol "aka" Cranberry

Oh and I guess I should share the story behind my nickname cranberry, not that it has anything to do with a small craft business i started when my daughter was born, and I named it Cranberry Cove, but it was when my daughter was in junior high and i was going through some kind of midlife crisis that I decided to change my hair color to red.  it was a pretty deep red, but needless to  say quite different from being blonde my whole life.   Thus it was the color of my new hair that earned me the new name that has stuck- Cranberry or The Cran for short.

So now you might of guessed it, that is where the name for our boutique came from-

Cranberry Cove Boutique.
